That depends on whether or not you watch enough movies or TV shows to make it worth the price of a subscription.

Never used it before.
The US netflix worths it costs to my family.
I have a family member using it and I share the cost as it allows 2 ip addresses. I pay another $4 for vpn as if I am in the same State. That is it.

Every time I sign up, I end up not using it enough. The documentaries are pretty bad too, like making up false facts with foreboding music in the background, reminds me of clickbite articles.

The only good thing is the subtitles for every movie, I like to be able to read when the I set the volume low late at night.

The first month is free, why don't you try it?

Yes do that. Its very easy to cancel. I tried it. Didn't like or found it pretty useless and canceled. However, at $8, its always nice to have a station where you can see an old movie or some re-runs of TV series.

I like several of the Netflix original series, like Orange Is The New Black, and Daredevil. Didn't like House of Cards that much though.

For my family it's well worth the $8/month (no tax applicable) for reliable streaming with subtitles.

I also have a Kodi box but find that with Netflix, the navigation controls (FF, rewind, etc.) are much easier to use.
As mentioned, some of the Netflix Original series are excellent.

I've always wanted to get Netflix, but I feel like there's too many drawbacks.

Not up to date with seasons or episodes, doesn't have every season of a show sometimes, they remove shows and seasons quite a bit, the movies are all older and nothing current or newer. They've been doing the right things, but it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Torrenting will most likely always be my go-to, until these companies get their act together. Give me a streaming service that offers theatre movies at their time of release, one-time viewing with 1080p quality and I'll gladly shell out some money for that.

Well worth it imo. The original series alone makes it worth it.

Remember too, it is only $8 a month. That's two lattes a month.

BTW, my pre-schooler looooves Curious George. They have a lot of kids shows on there.

A lot of those series are new to me. And some of them are not available in Canada. If I need more episodes I go torrenting.
