Network Audio Player suggestions?
I'm looking for two (or three) network audio players. They don't need to be able to play video, as I've already got that covered. What I'd like is along the lines of the old Turtle Beach Audiotron or the Rio Digital Media Reciever, but both of them have been discontinued.
I have a dedicated NAS for all of my audio (from vinyl, cassette, and CD) and I would prefer wireless, but wired ethernet can be made to work as well. I don't want to run a music server (a la Squeezebox), as I already have dedicated Network Storage for my audio files. This also does not need to deal with any video files, so I don't need a full-fledged media player, but that also means I'll need something with a small graphical display, as these won't be hooked up to a TV. They should have line-level outputs, and there isn't a need for a built in amplifier, as two will be hooked up to existing amps, and the third (optional) will be hooked to a dedicated headphone amp.
Am I best to look for older media players like the Audiotron and Rio Receiver? or is there something else comparable out there?

I think you're thinking of the Roku Soundbridge. The Roku M2000 and a couple of others are reviewed here: http://www.audio-ideas.com/index.php...-music-players

Thanks guys. I looked at the Roku, but I find it hard to justify that kind of money for an audio-only player, when I can get a video player for roughly the same price.. I may see what I can do with old PC parts or something like that. Besides, that would give me something fun to do in the process. I may also just end up looking for old Audiotrons or Rio Receivers off of ebay and craigslist.
