Networking question - domain vs non-domain user

There's probably an easy answer to this, but for the life of me I can't figure it out..

I have 2 computers.

Comp 1: on the domain
Comp 2: not on domain

Both computers are on the same network.

I use a third computer and access a shared drive on Comp 1 using a user on the domain ie. DOMAINCONTROLLER\user
I then try to access a shared drive on Comp 2, but it keeps using the domain controller to login!

How do I access the shared drive on comp 2?
