Pay an extra $30 @ Best Buy and don't get stuck with a Celeron:

Add 512MB DDR2 for $23.99:
http://www.canadacomputers.com/index...47&cid=RAM.187
I got this combo for my mother and it's a really nice machine.
And don't forget to get the HP F4180 all-in-one for an extra $29.99 @ Best Buy.Last edited by mystery; Aug 3rd, 2007 at 09:54 AM.

But would you notice a difference in productivity between an Intel cpu and an AMD cpu? Probably not; so whatever is the best balance between price and features would make my decision.
I've recommended Celeron-M laptops to friends and they're more than happy (I'm sure it would be the same case if it was Sempron-M). They're better than the old dinosaurs they had before, so it's all good.
