always build own or at least buy a custom PC
with $1100 you can build a nicer spec than the one you got there from NCIX although your TUNER does kill the budget here if you on a budget anyway
NEVER BUY FROM FS/BB

These days it's generally cheaper to go with pre-built than custom built. The only reason to go custom is to have better control over the quality of parts. Having said that, you're pretty much stuck with what you have.
You can't reduce the price much further without decreasing the parts a lot more, with the exception of buying Windows or not.

Computers built by HP have the worst motherboard ever, you can't overclock on them. (I'm not sure if you're going to overclock or not, but since you're getting a E4300, you should...)
If you ARE overclocking, add $20 and get the ASUS P5B motherboard instead. (Excellent for overclocking, #1 i think.)
And the x1600 pro you chose can kill the 7300LE on the HP._______________HI

Just so you know, HP uses Asus motherboards. You can see that on the HP's spec's site for the model.

custom built PC is better
Agree. Custom Built PC is better ... you can choose the components per your own requirements and your own usage of the computer....
u can buy a cheaper custom PC .. try CC or IFN or ESkynet, NCIx is too expensive and far away ... assuming u are in Toronto ... CC good prices while ES offer 500GB HDD free upgrade for now ..
