New Computer - What Have I Missed

Hey there Forum,

I've recently upgraded from a computer barely able to run TF2 on low to a system that can now run the most recent games on ultra settings with high-fps. I've been out of the gaming community for a while and was wondering, what have I missed in the past five years? So far I am interested in

Shogun 2
BF3
Portal 2
Skyrim

but would welcome any additional suggestions!

Mass effect series
Bioshock series
Crysis series
The Witcher 2
Fallout
Batman Arkham series
Dues ex HP

But I am really waiting for guildwars 2

IMO, the best game released in the past few years is Civilization V

That game continues to suck hours out of my life. Haven't tried the expansion yet (hoping it goes down a ton in the Steam Summer sale).

If you like racing games, Dirt 2 or 3
I'll +1 BF3, Batman Arkham series and Portal 2.

Perfect timing to get a new system with the Steam summer sale on! You can probably grab all the games you missed really cheap.

Left 4 Dead 2
Borderlands
Alan Wake (on sale in Steam) and Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Dead Space 2
Bastion
Limbo
Batman Arkham Asylum and City
Skyrim
Half Life 2 (if your PC can barely run TF2 then you shouldn't of played this even though its old)

Avoid Diablo 3.
I mean If you do want to try Diablo 3 then at least purchase It digitally.. That way when you realize It sucks you can refund the game within 30 days of purchase date.

LOL. He just said he bought a new computer. I know Onimusha and GoW are PS exclusives, and not sure about DMC.
