It has got to be a 15.6" laptop with an i3 cpu for no more than $500 pre-tax. I suggested the Lenovo E530 via the EPP, but he needs it by the end of the week so thats not an option. So i looked on FS and found this Samsung: Link. Its got good specs, its lightweight (5.1lbs), and has decent battery life at 4-5hrs. I would normally also suggest an Asus like this one: Link, but the only thing that makes it better is the reputation and warranty. Anyone have any other suggestions and/or comments on the laptops i mentioned?

I would get the Asus one for the warranty and better build. It doesn't take long to get things delivered from NCIX. Heck I did standard shipping on the Cisco E4200-RM router and got it next day with their free ground shipping to MTL.
