$22 * 100M shares outstanding is enterprise value $2.2B
FY2016 Revenue = $300M~
FY2016 Earnings = $55M

So we're looking at P/S of 7.3 and a P/E of 40 right now. Clearly right now its just the hype.. GOOS will have to justify these valuations.

Well if you look at SNAP, it's bleeding red and its at $20
But I do agree with you, I strongly believe its a hype right now and everyone is just playing the bull train...

Easy gain from the IPO price right now. I didn't partake myself....but lucky for those who did.

Not really, you;re looking at trailing numbers, use Forward numbers and you'll see why its justified. Major expansion plans, etc. that can boost these numbers insanely.

Either way I'm not in it for the long run, hoping to get out soon. Had my sell order at $25, HOD is sadly $23.98

Changed my orders to sell:
100@ $22
100@$23
100@ $24
100 @ $25

Didn't get jack for the waiting list orders either.

Makes me feel better about 100 for 5000 requested Face With Tears Of Joy
Sorry just out of curiosity, you requested 5000 shares at the IPO price of $17 for a total of $85,000?

In total I requested 17,000 shares (3 x 5,000 + 1 x 2,000). Only got 400 (100 on each account).

I can only imagine if I got those shares...17,000 * $7 (if sold at HOD) = $119,000 profit overnight haha.

Did you do so with the objective of filling the full order or did you assume with an oversubscribed IPO only a portion will get filled? I mean buying $289,000 worth of shares in GOOS is substantial for an average investor.

I would've loved to get the full fill, but I knew I wouldn't. I was expecting 20%...

IPO's are generally a no-risk trade so I'm willing to take the risk of all my eggs in one basket sort of deal

I don't think there's a big risk in buying ipo of GOOS. Most of IPOs in Canada are dilutions from treasury sales, which I think is very bad. But if you participate, you still make money. I bought a lot of X last year, which was not a dilution.
