no thank you!
I have the same attitude on this one...plus its the founder and their largest private investor who wants to sell...none of the proceeds go to the company which they may use for expansion etc. IPO's like this from my experience (I.e. sleep country) fail, but lets see what happens.

Also trading at around ~22-24 P/E ratio

You're also comparing a fashion boutique to a "athletic clothing" store.

I'm not an expert on this industry so don't know the standards, but it doesn't seem like a good value to me.

Not the same space. Gap Inc ( Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Athleta, ...) is probably the one to compare to.

Look at how ZZZ performed right out at the start. I sold my shares in the first couple minutes of trading and got out at $17.10 (10 cent profit per share). Others were not so lucky.

CAO also did its IPO to repay debt, not for its owners to sell off equity.

At least I got some BNP from last offer, it was a roller coaster
$3.35 issue
went below $3 after
I sold at $3.6
then it stayed in $3.2 - $4 range
I bought again at $3.36 last week, then bam, "asset swap deal" yesterday caused +20% jump
$4.52 today (new 52w high)

So, one can never know anyway.... I wouldn't have heard of BNP without the new issues

Struggled to make a decision on this one but decided to pass.

I saw all the pros in your argument. But at the end of the day, it's still a bricks and mortar based retail business that serves a shrinking middle class. Much rather take a wait and see approach since markets are a little bloated and Canadian IPOs rarely gets ridiculous action like the US.
