Search Forums
Right click on the start button, go to properties > Start Menu > Customize > Advanced > Uncheck "Highlight Newly Installed Programs"

New %^&$&^%$*&( Programs Installed!
ARGH! This is really starting to tick me off. My new Toshiba Satellite laptop has WinDVD, and in the start menu every single fricken time it always prompts "new programs installed"! How do I stop this? I ran the program a few times but it's still hilighted and I still get the stupid message. Why??
