New York matchmaker seeks wife for Vancouver millionaire
'They just need to be smart, gorgeous and successful'

A multi-millionaire widower in Vancouver is looking for a wife, and he has enlisted the services of a Manhattan matchmaker to help him find her.

The widower, who will only go by his first name, Bruce, is "tall, dark and handsome," said Manhattan matchmaker Janis Spindel, 50.

"He's well-traveled, extremely family-oriented and very, very sporty," Spindel said.

Spindel will be at the Sutton Place Hotel on June 21, 22 and 23 to interview potential wives for the man, and encourages single women in the area who fit the criteria to apply.

"I'm very excited. I hear women in Seattle and Vancouver are supposed to be amazing."

The ideal bachelorette should be 28 years or older, well-educated, sophisticated, athletic, preferably a non-smoker. She should also be "very attractive," "well-groomed" and in good shape.

Spindel has matched more than 760 couples into blissful matrimony since 1993 -- 40 of them this year. She said none of the marriages have ended in divorce.

Her clients are all male, well-educated, financially secure, and they're "picky, picky, picky, picky."

The cost for a bachelorette search can easily reach US $250,000. But Spindel believes she's worth it.

"They know I will never fit a square peg into a round hole. That's why they pay me the big bucks."

Spindel said she is looking for quality first, then quantity.

"I don't care how old they are, or what religion they are. They just need to be smart, gorgeous and successful. And if they're not great for him, they might be great for somebody else."

if ur beautiful, smart and successful, i think the least u'd be concerned with is finding a random millionaire that is desperately seeking a woman. women of the calibre hes looking for will find him pretty weak that he needs someone to game for him.
