If you hit "DELETE" right when your computer's starting up you should be able to get into BIOS, from there you have to look for an option to disable the intergated video card.

to change the graphics adapter priority, go to page 2-17 in your manual (downloaded here http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/...884_k8s-mx.pdf). Find agp configuration and then down to graphics adapter priority (second one) and change it to either agp/int-vga or agp/pci (which ever works, I don't have a similar board to test).
Then uninstall all graphics drivers with Driver Cleaner http://www.drivercleaner.net/
Then install your graphics drivers.
changing your graphics adapter priority can be done, someone with same board as you did it http://www.amdzone.com/index.php?nam...4c2eb1c83468a9
Hope this helps any.

Dec 27th, 2005 09:43 AM #12Sounds like you have an old motherboard that doesn't have AGP....that'd be the first thing you need to fix.

Are you sure you have the K8S-MX motherboard? If you don't see the AGP slot then you've got a different motherboard. Regardless though it seems you'll have to return the AGP video card and get a PCI (NOT PCI-E) video card.
