[Newegg] ABS Fleet Gaming Desktop i5-8600k + Asus GTX 1060 6GB + Asus Prime Z370 + 16GB DDR4-2666 + 240GB SSD/1TB HDD - $1,169.99

The $1,169.99 price is with code CEMCPREX25. The total cost to build this yourself is listed below. The included keyboard+Mouse is the GAMDIAS GKC100 set Newegg used to sell but is rather low end so I just put a place holder set in that is similar. Overall I would recommend to replace the CPU cooler. The PSU and SSD are just estimates based on what I have seen System Integrator's use in the past. Its not a bad deal for those not looking to build their own PC or wanting to start off with a new PC.

Dang, where was this six months ago. It's pretty much the same setup that I assembled, with a couple of slightly upgraded parts.

Components you receive are a lottery that varies from user to user

Therefore, don't expect to receive exact parts and brand that it mentioned in the lists description

Pretty good price for a pre-built, especially with the ASUS parts. The only thing that annoys me is the GTX 1060 6gb. (Not commenting on this deal, but the card during this time) I mean, a couple of weeks ago, we saw the 570gb 8gb for $199 and even the RTX 580 8gb is now priced at $269. I prefer Nvidia over Raedeon but during this time the RTX 2060 at $469-500 is not that far off and 1660ti coming out soon as well. Yes, compared to the crypto prices half a year ago, this ASUS 1060 6gb is pretty good. But it's like Nvidia 10 series card never went on sale even when the new cards are coming out. But to be fair, prices for brand new gtx1070ti and gtx1080 is ridiculous, lol!

A reddit user contacted my post after seeing the same thing. It was confirmed by Newegg that it should contain Asus parts and if not they will swap them out. https://www.reddit.com/r/bapcsalescanad ... s/egqzwi5/

Contacted ABS company and they cannot guarantee Asus components, said it would be similar in performance parts which could include other brands such as Asrock, Zotec/MSI/Gigabyte etc.
