[Newegg.CA] REFURB Logitech K400+ $20 / TK820 $25 / K480 $17 or $14 Black or White | + S&H or local pickup

1. Newegg.ca has the refurb K400+ on sale for $20. Usually goes for about $25~$30 (or more) nowadays. Don't know about holiday pricing, may or may not be lower.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 1476823643

I have two of the older K400 and love them. I bought two more of these K400+ for relatives and they have liked it so far too. Good for HTPC/Living room use. Don't type a paper on them, that won't be a good time.

2. They also have the Logitech TK820 Refurb for $29.99 (-$5 with promo code 1028CAFEF76) = $24.99
I used this one before and felt it was a bit too heavy for my taste, compared to my cheapo K400. But YYMV.

3. Finally, Logitech K480 Refurb for $24.99 (-$10 with promo code 1028CAFEF77) = $14.99 *white version only.
Black version is $16.99

All 3 keyboards:
$6.99-$7.99 shipping/Free Premier Shipping/Local Warehouse pickup option YMMV /Inpost? (please verify)

Great find finite. I have both keyboards, the K400 for my Android boxes and the K480 for my tablet. The K480 is a bit clunky, but it does ease the PITA in using a tablet keyboard. The K400 is a great box for TV boxes. It would be great if they came up with a backlit version. Thanks again.

Thanks, OP, in for one! I was actually looking for one of these!

I think it will serve well enough to control my wife's old 2008 Imac that we wall-mounted to serve as our streaming TV/ Music control system.

Most web reviews seem to suggest it works well enough with a mac (with some caveats) although it's not "supported". Anything else I could find with a touchpad seemed a lot more $.

I'm thinking about the TK820. The touchpad looks nice and big. But many reviews on the NE page dump on the touchpad. $24.99 is amazing given the original price was $149.99.

I tried the TK820 and while the touchpad did not give me too much issue, the weight of the keyboard itself was what prompted me to return it. Don't get me wrong, the keyboard itself is definitely an upgrade from the K400, but (if it were regular price) is it 3 or 5x better than the K400?

For HTPC use though, the K400 is IMHO the best one to go with. The combination of weight, ease of use and it's price (They tend to get squashed, dropped, etc) makes it a great choice.

These are very nicely priced. I have the old K400 and it was plagued with touchpad problems! It would just be laggy and not respond at random moments. Hopefully they fixed that issue in these newer models, thanks again for posting this OP. :)

I have one of the older k400 keyboards and have had no issues. You may have been experiencing interference issues caused by another device. I remember having an old wireless logitech mouse and if my cell phone was placed on my desk inline between the mouse and wireless receiver I would have intermittent signal issues. Move the phone 6 inches one way or the other and everything was great.

Thanks OP !

Just ordered the TK820 for home use. Every review complains about the touch pad but I've not used it much anyway.

Thanks OP!

Last day for k480 coupon.

I bought a k480 and a k820.

I had trouble getting the k480 pairing with my devices. It turns out that you need to hold the "PC' rocker switch for at least 3 seconds to have it discoverable or whatever the correct Bluetooth term is. It came with no manual so I missed that. The manual (online, not in package) explains that. It isn't a size that you'd carry around -- think of it as a docking station. I liked the keyboard enough that I've ordered a second. $16.94 all-in (free InPost delivery) is a steal for a BT keyboard.

The k820 isn't easy to evaluate. Yes it is heavy -- that isn't all bad. The touchpad is large (good!). Some of the time our computer seems laggy in responding to touchpad movement in a way that a regular wireless mouse is not (we have both connected). The k820 seems to use custom Logitech software on Win 10 -- maybe that is being bogged down by other software we're running. We're using it on an HTPC so the signal has to travel 10 or more feet, sometimes through potato chip bags, so that might be the problem. I'm now trying it on my desktop

OK, now I know that the touchpad is flawed. It caused my message to be posted before it finished! And when editing this reply, there were a number of mistakes.

This isn't likely a driver problem: my desktop testing is under Linux.

Therein lies the problem. If you have another mouse connected simultaneously with the mousepad, there will be skips, inability to drag drop, other glitches. Disconnect the extra mouse and the mousepad will work fine.

Lol, and linux drivers can be unfriendly as well sometimes.
Dun with posting deals.
