It's likely Ontario since they charge Ontario PST.

Well, in one of the profiles, either facebook or myspace, it think it said their location is Burnaby BC... definitely said BC, though

It's pretty simple... If they're overpriced or priced similarly, don't buy from them. They'll take the hint and either close shop (which doesn't matter because they were priced higher/similar anyway) or lower prices...
The things you own end up owning you.

I foresee "wow, these deals are crap" followed by everyone shuffling over to the NCIX thread to check out tonight's deals. ;)

What are you talking about? There's lots of competition to NCIX. For example, DirectCanada, Compu2000, BestDirect, NXSource.. oh, wait. :)

I just hope newegg.ca has a comparable selection to the US site. Not like amazon.ca, which is pathetic compared to amazon.com.

On their myspace profile it says Burnaby, British Columbia.

Been waiting a looong time for this! Lets hope they don't disappoint.

Based on the prices that people saw (those who got an early preview) last week, I'd have to agree. I think some people are expecting pricing to be equal to Newegg.com, which simply won't be the case.

They let you visit their site early for e-mail subscribers. It seems like they did charged both taxes for ON.

Aren't all those companies owned by NCIX (not sure about compu2000 though)?

Hmm, some people say BC, others say Ontario. Maybe their opening locations in both provinces?

They are, hence the "oh wait" comment :)

1. Prices...wait & see. Initial reports not favorable.
2. Shipping method and cost?
3. Warehouse location?
4. Will it be grey-market stock like Tiger Direct?

Come on, need answers.

well, I guess then they won't be as profitable as they probably anticipated ... Anyway, lets see what they launch specials are.
