crypto miners scooped up all the cards. All we can do now is wait for prices to drop.

Gpu miners are buying them up. Bestbuy had a Rx 580 8gb yesterday for under $400.

Prices won't drop unless cyrpto mining dies. I don't see that happening any time soon. The original point of having cryptocurrency has been lost by these people trying to pump and dump their random coins in an effort to make some money.

It's dropped $3K over the past two weeks. And nobody is mining Bitcoin with GPUs.

Also, mining cryptocurrencies is like printing money, so I figured RFD would be on board, haha. ROI on the NVIDIA 10-series is like 3 months. Hard to blame us.

Crypto dying pretty quickly now. Bitcoin from $20k to under $10k in a month.

It's over 14K now so it's not dying.

Yeahhhhhh no.

Jan 5th it was at $22.7k CAD. It is currently at $14.3k CAD. It's been even lower than that recently.

Crypto prices are tied to BTC. When BTC crashed yesterday/today, it brought every single alt coin worth mining with it.

I'm a miner and while I can still turn a profit, if prices remained bottomed out - mining would be a slow effort and not worth buying new hardware for.

Wow didn't notice the jump, glad I got my 1070 last year. I thought they were making dedicated miner cards to curb demand, guess those dried up as well?

no miner would really want that because then if it crashes they wouldn't even be able to resell it to gamers.
if and a big IF the BTC crashes... the influx of used GPU's will be ginormous.
