[Newegg] Haier RFB. 10,000/8,000/ BTU Portable Air Conditioners $99

Since the $99 10,000 BTU Haier Portable Air Conditioner went OOS so quickly yesterday, here are two other 8000 BTU models for $99 and $109 that are still available.
Still refurbished with 90 day warranty, and available for pick up at the Richmond Hill, ON and Richmond, BC warehouses. Otherwise $30 shipping, unless Premier shipping is valid and you have it. How much stock is available is the question.

This 8,000 BTU Haier is now $99, and it is available for Pick UP at the Richmond Hill store without shipping for those in the GTA, unlike previously.

This 10,000 BTU model is $99 again, for a few days, probably very limited quantities. Available for pick up in Richmond Hill for those in the GTA.

If bought with my Tim's Double Double Visa, will Visa give an extra year of warranty or only extra 30 days...?
Complimentary Purchase Security and Extended Protection Insurance
Most new items of personal property you purchase with your CIBC Tim Hortons
Double Double Visa Card will be replaced or repaired, or you will be reimbursed if they
are lost, stolen or damaged within 90 days of purchase. Plus, with Extended Protection
Insurance, you can double the period of a manufacturer’s original warranty up to one
year on most purchases. That makes your CIBC Tim Hortons Double Double Visa Card
ideal for new purchases like electronic equipment and appliances.

I think that the problematic word there is New, as in most New items. I seem to recall refurbished items, being exempt from CC warranty extension, but that may not be so any longer or it may vary by vendor.

Got the 10k btu when it was on sale for $99. Swapped my Haier 14k btu unit out with this one, just to try it out. Worked great. Excellent deal

I was going to pull the trigger on two 8,000 BTU's but it's not free shipping for a $199 purchase. Wtf!?!?!
Were they charging $30 per unit for shipping?
I assume that you aren't near one of the pick up locations in Toronto or Vancouver or that this model isn't available for pick up?

I wonder why they have so many refurb portable AC units. Could it be that portable AC's are garbage?

You'd assume by paying $200 you'd get free shipping. That's just stupid. Only in Canada
