Did you miss "refurbished" in the title?

Haven't been in the market for a graphics card in a while. Is this a pretty good price?

Lincoln has been posting here for years..I remember as far back as 2010. I've seen him post a lot of good deals on PC parts.

Look up the specs on Google and compare it to similar price nonrefurb GPUs from NVDA or AMD and see for yourself. They have websites that do that for you. They compare memory speeds etc. Check out what framerates you'll get on the games you want to play. Does it have all the ports you want? Does it support the features you need ?

It's kind of situational to say it's a good card or not. The price is good though for what it is

This card is similar to a GTX 1060 3/4 GB for comparison. AMD nerf the 4 GB version of this card. AMD is rumored to revel and launch the Navi graphic cards at E3 next month.

In the past, I asked newegg on eBay whether "Manufacturer refurbished" really means it's refurbished by the manufacturer...some yes, some not (instead, they're seller/newegg refurbished / openbox / return).

Might be best to send them an email and get a response in writing.

Their definition of 'Manufacturer refurbished': An item that has been professionally restored to working order by a manufacturer or manufacturer-approved vendor. This means the product has been inspected, cleaned, and repaired to meet manufacturer specifications and is in excellent condition. This item may or may not be in the original packaging. See the seller’s listing for full details.

"manufacturer-approved vendor" --> Newegg in this case. But newegg isn't a manufacturer-approved service / repair partner.

This ebay listing also doesn't state whether any manufacturer warranty is included. So, again, this might be something you'll like to get in writing.

$10 shipping makes it $175.

I would spend the extra $110 for a brand new GTX 1660.

Hashrate for mining is still good on these.
But even at $160 it's going to be a difficult ROI.

RX580 is more comparable to Nvidia's 1070 and not a 1060

Thats the Vega 56. Which Nvidia countered with the GTX 1070 TI.

The Vega 64 was meant to compete with the GTX 1080 which the Vega 64 failed badly.
