Devil May Cry 5 demo (XBox One X).

After playing the demo, I think this series is in trouble. Bayonetta 1 & 2, and NieR Automata have
far surpassed Devil May Cry 5 in the hack-and-slash action game genre.

I don't understand why there is no DMC5 demo on PS4. Even if sales for the two platforms are equal, there is a bigger fanbase for this type of game on PlayStation than Xbox.

Since Microsoft cancelled funding Scalebound and lost an exclusive,
Microsoft probably paid Capcom to release the demo for XBox One only.

One of the playable characters, Nero, looks similar to Scalebound's main character.

Going by what I played in the demo, Devil May Cry 5 is underwhelming and not anywhere as good as Bayonetta or NieR Automata.

Oh man - the irony - Hideki Kamiya was the original creator of DMC and I still definitely like DMC1 better than everything that came after it... I don't know the circumstances behind scalebound's cancellation but on the surface, it looks like a giant mistake...
I hope the full version of DMC5 turns out to be good ... I'll probably pick it up and regret it anyways ... like Uncharted 4 ... those games just aren't what they used to be...

Pokemon Let's Go Evee & Pikachu (Nintendo Switch)

This is actually a remake of Pokemon Yellow.
Battles for catching wild Pokemon has been dumbed down to Pokemon GO levels
whereby you only throw Pokeballs and feed berries to Pokemon to catch them.
That goes against the TV show where they battle wild pokemon, knock them out or weaken them,
and then catch them.

Pokemon fights in this game are against other Pokemon trainers' pokemon or gym leaders.
But you do level up by catching Pokemon too.

Overall, disappointing since it is not very ambitious and it seems the bare minimal effort went into this one. Nintendo did say they are working on a new full tradional
Pokemon RPG for the Switch.

Resident Evil 2 Remake demo (PS4 Pro)

Took a lot of damage during my first playthrough on PS4 Pro.

Divinity Original Sin 2 (PS4 Pro). Very overrated game from what I played of it so far IMO.
