I am looking to stay off Roger's teat if I possibly can. I have a HTPC connected to my big screen already and was hoping to stream HD games from this service. I was wondering on the quality of this service. Is it evolved enough to buy now? Any experiences here from anyone?

It is pretty sweet
I have an HTPC and have only been abkle to watch the archived games. Sunday will be the true test. I would say you can tell it is a stream but after a few minutes I don't care. Wish it was cheaper but I also ditched Rogers and need my NFL. I wllt try to rmeber to up[date after sunday.

Well you get REDZONE this way which I think Rogers charges a lot for. Regardless the reason I switched was becuasue I ditched Rogers all together and went OTA so it is cheaper for me to do this.

I hope you ad better luck than I did. I am so furious with anger with this thing. I bought it so I could watch last nights first week pre season games. I COULD NOT WATCH ANY BLOODY GAMES!!
All I got was a message along the lines of "This content not viewable in your geographic area." WTF? Please tell me I did something wrong. Would hate to think I p!s$ed away +$200

I was able to watch all games last night minus the Oackers vs. Chargers. The stream was not stable at 4500k and sometimes dipped below 3000k. The quality was realy good. I use Internet Explorer and found playback choppy. Switched to Firefox and you can almost not tell it is a stream. It was cool being able to watch 4 games at once with the split screen feature. Willdacanucker, were you in Toronto last night? Are using any location spoofing software? Who is your ISP?

Rogers sports package is 30+ a month
I just went through the renewal process and hate having to pay 170 a month for tv and cable.

I bought this last year.. It was good.. Games are almost in HD and streaming worked great.. For Monday Nighters and playoffs I had to create the connection to game pass through a VPN but once the stream started I could disconnect the VPN and the stream continued to work..
It's a little expensive to me at $239.99.. I swear I saw it earlier this week for under $200 ... Overall I had a positive experience with it last year, just a little bit expensive and the Sunday/Monday nighter blockout kind of sucks..

If you watch more than one sports (NFL+NCAA football or NCAA Basketball or NBA or MLB or if there's a season NHL) Rogers is cheaper than NFL Game Pass.
Especially if you're getting 30% off via retentions.
