I Like that pick, Browns over the Eagles. Jeff Garcia vs Terrell Owens. Owens claimed Garcia is gay in the summer, and there was a huge media hype about it. Garcia is mad, so hes gonna kick some Eagle ass.

Jesse, the Browns is playing pretty well at home this season, Eagles might be in for a letdown, it may win S/U but not sure if Philly will cover the spread. If i play in a pool, i'd definitely rotate that game.
Solid picks Trash, really like Tampa and Denver this weekend
Did any of you guys play the ProLine Pool where you pick the winners of all the NFL game and whoever got the most wins (usually 14/14) the big pot. Last week there were 72 winners, each pocketed $5K and some change. Not too shabby i reckon._______________

Thanks Oreo, I appreciate the picks.
Can any of you guys post your top 8-10 games or so to bet on? (i.e. the most predictable ones?) I would be curious to see what would be the safest bets... i.e. it would be tough to call the NY/NE game... both 5-0 and both great teams. I am just getting into football (can't wait to Sunday to watch the games) so I cannot offer educated opinions yet. hehe. Soon enough... when betting on golf on pro-line comes up again soon I can help you guys, I am awesome at predicting golf... it is my favourite sport on TV to watch!! Thanks a lot guys, I look forward to your responses!!

Philly, Seattle & New England would have to be my locks with Buffalo being my underdog pick against a weak Baltimore team (sadly I have 2 players from BAL in my lineup this week thanks to byes and suspensions).
If you need a tie (within 3) I'd say Jacksonville/Indy, that game will be closer than the spread leads you to believe. Look at Chicago to upset, and my friend feels Miami is going to have a big game at home, though I think STL will outpace them in the air.
But to be honest with you, I don't like this week at all, there are too many evenly matched teams to make solid choices._______________

To be totally honest I think there will be a lot of ties (as per Proline rules 3 or less). Here are by picks for games that could end as Proline ties:

Your 2 safest picks are probably these 2:
Denver @ Cincinnti
St.Louis @ Miami
with the Philly and Cleveland being a close 3rd. (Philly should blow them out, but I think it will be a pretty close game)
Good luck everyone,

19 - I agree with you. miami sucks
20 - not too sure about that one, but i agree with your pick
24 - again, not too sure about this one. arizona is a very tricky team...sometimes they're hot, sometimes they're cold. i'd leaning, though, towards your pick of seattle.

Now my picks...i played the early line so the spread may differ
Proline:
SD win by 4 = 2.6
CHI @ TB tie = 3.4
ATL @ KC tie = 3.3
$10 pays $291.70
Pointspread
NJ -7.5
PHI -7.5
SD +2.5
STL -7.5
DEN -6.5
$10 pays $200
Good luck to everyone!

Oct 22nd, 2004 09:58 PM #15Solid picks... I'm really starting to like SD this week. Care to share how much you make (or lose!!) playing pro-line/point spread? Do you win more than you lose? Thanks...
