Also was curious how stable it is yet? You getting any PPV?

My Ultra is still sitting in box in the basement and want to bring it up for one of my other tvs.
Right now Im using SonicView 8000 HD aimed at 91/82 and Im on a private server. Works perfectly but no ppv. It costs money every month to be on the server as well.

Do you mind sending me a pm with the server info and the amount you pay?

Cheers

For those you who have a Solaris or Phoenix, these receivers have apparently come back online (DN mainly) in the past couple of days. HD is not back up yet.

Who is behind the "new" support is uncertain, so proceed with caution.

I'm getting too many pms about this. I'm not sure if the mods will alllow it or not, but if they delete it oh well.

Here's the info. Get rid of the spaces.

Also from the site:

Also so everyone is aware of what they'd be getting in to here's my pro/con list:

Pros:
- It does work with no freezing or glitches
- One account gets 2 connections. You can use both, or you an a buddy can share.
-Dealer packages are available.

CONS:
- There are no guarantees
- You HAVE to have an internet connection
- You have to pay in advance (3month/6month/1year)
- Some people dont like having thier IP address out there in the FTA world.
- Unlike the normal servers you have to pay for this, so that's another paper trail that alot of people are worried about coming back to them

If there is enough people interested I might consider getting the dealer package.

Just a heads up NFUSION Solaris and Phoenix DO work on the normal nfusion server now.

I think its been working for a week or so. I just tried mine today to see if it was true and it is working right now. This is NOT a private server and is completely free. Anyone with one of those receivers should update to the newest bin and enjoy your tv. :)

What birds do you have and what channels are you pulling in?
Sorry for the late reply.

It's pretty stable, it does take a second when switching between channels because it's the internet, but you get used to it.
Pulling in DISH, 110 and 119. No BEV, no PPV. Movie channels though.
Not all channels come in though, but majority do. It's def. still a good replacement for cable and OTA.
