I'm assuming you bought the wheels from this thread:
http://forums.redflagdeals.com/winte...0-gta-1093557/
You can plainly see the rims are scraped up quite a bit from the pictures. Do you have any other pictures to show that the tires are even worse than what the pictures in the thread show?

NGBrian85 ripped me off
He sold me winter rims and tires that were damaged - he assured me everything was fine, I went to put them on but the rims were bent and NOT DRIVEABLE.
Cannot believe this - after he reassured me that the rim's were fine. Had a second opinion done on the rims, they are toast. I don't give a flying 4 letter about curb rash, but the actual inside of the rim was bent. I also have a witness to verify saying that the rims/tires were fine. Buyer beware I guess.
Anyways because NGBrian85 blocked my phone number and refused to answer my calls about a refund I have no further choice other than to get new rims/wheels and mount these tires on them. I'm out a couple hundred for sure on the rims.
Brian Ing is his name, brutal.

Destroyed as in Bent or just Curbed Rash?
Looking at the pics, it clearly shows the condition. If it's just Curbed Rash, didn't you inspect them before handing over the cash?_______________

Secondly, the sale was apparently done on November 20th. Have you contacted the seller with your concerns? Or did you come right here?

Dude, you need to specify how they were destroyed? You were able to inspect the rims and tires before paying so how can they be destroyed when you proceed to put them on?

Defense
Check out my FS post on RFD, I clearly said that there was curb rash on the rims. When you purchase used auto parts there is always going to be wear and tear, I clearly mentioned that in my FS advertisement. I have done nothing wrong, and I gladly welcome an RFD moderator or the RFD community to give their input.
Further, you inspected the tires before making a purchase. The tires have in fact 80% tread, you were in conformity with that observation when you completed the inspection.
You have guts to msg me and ask for a refund, this is obviously not going to happen because you’ve already mounted the tires on your vehicle, and the sale was ‘as is’. I saw the online kijiji posting you made today. I’d also like to point out a few mistakes you made.
1) The tires are not Michelin X-Ice2, they are Michelin X-Ice, you are lying to potential buyers.
2) You did not state that there is curb rash on the rims, you are cheating potential buyers.

How are the rims destroyed? Unless you mean they were curbed rash as the seller already pointed out before and you had the chance to personally check them yourself and now you're complaining then you're the one at fault. If that's really your kijiji ad also they look fine and you're trying to resell them with a more exaggerated description, seems like you're the one that's trying to rip someone off.

I don't see anything new in your original post.. although I am not expert but the sellers AD mentioned the damages on tires and rims or both and if you didn't check it before buying from him then it's your fault.. Just don't blame the seller...
and check your eye sight .. you really need glasses...

Hrrm. That Kijiji ad has been taken down now. I have a copy of it still up at work, so I'll save a copy of it just in case.
OP, was that your ad?

Sadly I had closed the window before leaving work, and was using Google Chrome which doesn't really do local caching of web sites in a viewable manner, as I just learned today.
I will confirm that I saw an ad, it had a picture of the wheel on a car, and I had asked NGBrian85 if the phone number on the ad was the one that the OP used to communicate with NGBrian85. He confirmed that it was.
I don't remember much about the ad except that there was no mention that they were unusable, and given the picture had them mounted on a car, and the ad was promptly taken down, I find this thread really dodgy.
OP, do you have a retort to this?

Isn't there a difference between curb rash and a bent rim?
