its really tough to judge, because its the outdoor game, and the leafs are coming to town, but its in Detroit (I go to enough of their games, and tickets are cheap) and the stadium will fit over 100 000 people.. lol maybe slightly under the market price of an average leaf Saturday night game?

I'm in Vancouver and was thinking about going, i've heard awful things about Detroit though, is it really as bad as people say it is? I'm guessing fans will drive from Ontario to Michigan the day of, how far is it from Toronto exactly? How is driving in Detroit especially in the January weather?

It would be a pretty cool experience. I can't help but doubt how great the view of the actual game would be though.
A hockey rink is roughly half the length and width of a football field. It would be pretty much between the 20 yard lines. The people on that field look pretty damn small as is, but when you add in the boards, from that angle it could be pretty damn hard to see the puck.

Watching the game would be nice but I doubt you can haha.. It would be fun nonetheless.. Like the atmosphere of the game and what not!
It's just like the first UFC Event held In Toronto.. Skydome sold out but you couldn't see much unless you were watching on the multiple big screens they had!_______________

The awful things you here about mostly relate to downtown Detroit. It's bit more dangerous at night, but during the day, it is like most other cities except for the boarded up buildings.
Besides Michigan Stadium is in Ann Arbor. I don't think a lot of people would be staying in downtown Detroit and then make the one hour drive there.
