The Octagon is more old-fashioned but has great prime rib. It's on Yonge Street north of Steeles.

Terra has a website. It's also in Richmond Hill on Yonge. Fancier French cuisine.

Visited on: August 7, 2005 for Dinner
Number in party: 5

Comments: This restaurant was simply superb, the place is both unique and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed, family atmosphere and the friendly service. The food was excellent

BriX California Grill and Wine Bar is a nice, high-end, restaurant (and yes I would classify it as a steakhouse).

It is located in the Go For Tea plaza (Hwy. 7 and Leslie)

It's quite chic inside

OR in the same plaza...

BATON ROUGE - which has got to be one of the best for both food and decor

You are joking right? Have you been to higher end restaurants? Just went with friends to Baton Rouge on Sunday night. I ordered the steak on special. It was tasteless, rubbery and cheap. I think steak from No Frills would have been better. For $27, I would have rather bought the 4 10oz Angus steaks at SAM's club. I would never recommend this place to anyone for steak.
This space for rent.

a Paradise for Meats Lover...

Start at $14.99 (weekday lunch, Rodizio - meat only), you can enjoy All You Can Eat fresh, delicious steak, from rare to well-done. You pick, they cut

AGREED

That place is garbage for steaks... even the Jack Astors Butterbrushed is better/ When I went to BR, I ordered medium, I got medium rare with blood gushing out, the outside was burnt and tasted like charcoal. Never again. Their ribs are alright, and the sides are huge.

Baton Rouge no good.
Montanas no good.

Outback is ok.
Canyon Creek is good for prime rib only.

Braised Bull was excellent (not sure now). Expensive.

Oh I just remembered, the Keg is pretty good in Richmond Hill.

In the same area as Jack Astor's, Rocky Mountain High etc.

I think that is West Beaver Creek. It was pretty good and wasn't THAT expensive there.

Baton Rouge ribs are ok and yeah they give a huge thing of sides. I wouldn't recommend them for steak either.

Canyon Creek Chophouse near Vaughn Mills. Not too far from Richmond Hill.

Haven't tried their steaks but everyone I know that has says it's one of the better steaks for that price range.

Their porkchop and ribs... best I've tried.

BTW, they currently have a $25 Discovery menu for a 3 course meal.

Includes salad, main course, dessert and coffee/tea.
