Heh, "meh" indeed.
Got mine from McBain in Southgate last week for $948 for the D90 body.
Memory Express has the 4G Extreme 30MB/s Sandisk cards for $70, which McBain matched. I got two of them... I should've picked up two 8G instead, but that's ok.. not a big deal.
Also got the 35mm f1.8 for $260.
You don't need a warranty - Nikon's excellent 2yr is all you want. I sent my D70s in for warranty because the mirror kept locking up every 20-30 shots. Fixed and it's been flawless since.

Not sure if it comes around in Canada, but in the states, Sandisk has crazy rebates every quarter or so..
Earlier in the year I picked up 3x4GB Extreme III for $15 after MIR. Yes $5 a pop... after MIR...

I didn't really care about the speed, so I've replaced my 4GB Extreme III with a 16GB Lexar Platnium II that I got last month for $23 USD.

agree with all others here....
i usually by the PSP on certain items, on my D90...no way in hell...waste of money...
i have had issues with my D90 to and had a lens and camera serviced by Nikon....
FS is ripping people off given Nikon's warranty is stellar.
return the PSP...you can do so and should.

The cost on that 16GB Extreme III is $100. Its currenty on sale at Best Buy for $129.99 so I dont see it going for $100.
The thing is for Nikon you got to send it to the Toronto location from what it says on the yellow warranty card in the box. That would be an easy $30-$40 to send it in. The sensor cleanings are not costly like Vistek does it for $40 and you dont do it that often.
So... I'll get the cost on the bag later today
Edit: Anyone know the cheapeast place for Lowepro Nova 190AW? Ill just the sales guy to match that if its below their cost (he doesnt care, and doesnt care for adding shipping)

Depends on where you are. Since Nikon only has 1 service center in all of Canada.kukkudo wrote: ↑Dec 7th, 2009 1:56 pmThe cost on that 16GB Extreme III is $100. Its currenty on sale at Best Buy for $129.99 so I dont see it going for $100.

I still wouldn't get it from FS though. They'd probably tell you to take it/send it directly to Nikon yourself during the first two years.
Either way you'd be f-ed.

On my Olympus they sent in to B.C (dont know where ther service center is). So basically I'll double check where they send it, cost on the bag, and if the sensor cleanings are covered.legendofxix wrote: ↑Dec 7th, 2009 2:00 pmDepends on where you are. I would never, ever ever trust anyone from FS to handle my camera... I wouldn't even let them touch my baby.

These Sandisk Extreme cards might give you CHA error ("This card cannot be used") from what I've read, not too wild spread but we're still talking about ~10k results on google while searching for Nikon, otherwise, 4-5k for the D90 specifically.
