Yea, these were not donated. HUGE discount however, someone on Kotaku posted (supposedly an accountant) that you get more tax savings if you sell it at a huge loss rather than outright donating it so there ya go. Leave it to Nintendo to count pennies

as for Sony, they did "donate" those TVs during the sony UK launch
