Nintendo Switch Pre Order

Nintendo Switch will be available for preorder Friday January 13th 9am EST 6am PST

These are most likely going to sell out and be hard to get for the first few months.
Probably another NES Classic fiasco

Not really a deal is it?
HOT DEAL ALERT: 661,000 stolen emails, usernames and unencrypted passwords from a Canadian deals website, compromised due to administrator incompetence and general apathy towards users! Order now!

$400 for a 720p screen and low frame rate mobile level graphics. Not a deal at all. Also battery life while gaming is 3 hours. Pro controller is also another $70(usd so likely more here)

Most consider a path to getting scarce items a hot deal even if regular price.
Right... I guess that's why there are so many regular price threads in these forums. Also, see votes.

knew I would get a reply like this 🤦‍♂️
Where should I post this than to inform people of a potential pre order of a hard to obtain item? Please show me.

here's a spot:

NX is going to flop hard - Nintendo should get out of consoles already.

Thanks! Didn't know of this
Yah I don't think the Switch is going to fair so well, but it will be hard to obtain for awhile. Same thing happened with the Wii U. Low stock, high initial demand.....the Nintendo way!

console is not that bad consider its more of a handheld than a full experience, but maan only 1 launch title? All the press release was about development... And they are only 2 months away from releasing... the line up doesn't look so promising...

Canadian pricing (from Nintendo):

Nintendo Switch console: $399.99
Additional pair of Joy-Con controllers: $99.99
Additional single Joy-Con controller (left or right): $64.99
Pro controller: $89.99
Joy-Con charging grip: $39.99

EDIT: noted that the accessories are if you wish to purchase additional controllers; the Switch comes with two controllers (one left, one right) and a grip.

A handheld needs to last more than 3 hours. If my 3DS lasted 3 hours, I wouldn't have bought it.

Would buy at $250CAD. Would *never* buy at $400CAD.

Another WiiU pricing fiasco in the making

Numbers are hard, I know, but -5 is what's called a negative number.
