I was able to order online on launch day at two different place, EBGames and Walmart. Both are expected on Monday/Tuesday

Since I didn't know if the order would pass, that's why I ordered two. But I'll return one, probably Walmart since EB are not so return friendly.....

Just came back from EB and traded Mafia 3, Rise of the tomb raider and Forza Horizon 3. Got $100 in double up trade credit and ended up getting Zelda at $80 tax free and a $20 credit towards Mario Kart next month. Overall pretty happy.

I preordered on January 13th from Best buy and I got my shipping notification this morning, scheduled delivery is next Thursday lol.

It sounds like I can probably easily find one in stores before then.

Is it safe to say it's completely sold out in-store everywhere in the GTA?

No they had zero advertising for a console launch. Embarrassing really but guess it's meant for the core first. Advertise at xmas 2017.
Switch ads during Super Bowl, pre-movie ads at the Cineplex, and the current North American demo tour.

I suppose those were organized by Sony and Microsoft.

lol no

Just bought two today at BB and EB. At regular $399 price.

Even scumbag scalpers are having to lower than prices from $500 to $480 now cuz there's no shortage of stock and the demand isn't that high.

Super Bowl - only American feed
Cineplex - people actually go to the cinemas still? If I do I do not put myself through the annoying ads, gotta love reserved seating
tour - I am not in college anymore

Organized by Atari.

I'm always amazed at the amount of effort people are willing to go through for a quick buck. To have to order/list/meet and knowingly rip someone off for a 75$ profit makes me think most of these people are minimum wage employees with nothing better to do with their time.

No luck so far in Oakville-Mississauga area (Ontario). Tried a bunch of bestbuys and EB games and they won't say when they will restock. Have had Zelda since the third so it hurts even more not to find one lol.

The Switch was well marketed compared to the 3DS and Wii U at launch.

But it's a $399 CDN console launching in March with only Zelda being the main attraction. Nintendo is producing 2 million units for this month, if Canada gets 2% of that it would be 40 000 systems. Did scalpers actually think they will make a large profit as they did with the NES?
