I tried to play Zelda on the subway once. I started getting nauseous, which is weird, it's not a problem I had with a 3DS or a phone.

My Switch stays docked 95% of the time .. I find it a bit too unwieldy to play as a portable. Too wide and the controls are too dainty ... grip is weird. Overall, I find it more uncomfortable to use as an original 3DS.

Yeah I have to agree. It's too heavy to hold up comfortably and the controls are too small for my hands, it gets uncomfortable after about 30 minutes. With the Pro Controller I am totally fine but I can't stand playing the thing with the joycons. Doesn't really affect my enjoyment but does ruin the portability aspect I guess. Thankfully I tend to do most of my gaming on the couch this year.

It'll be interesting to see if they come up with a new joycon design in the future. Something meatier that the Switch can still slide in to. Something that grips like a Pro or PS4 controller. I would love a unit that had the meatiness of the Pro Controller with a Vita sized screen in the middle.

What carrying case do oyu guys like to use? I'd like something I can just throw in my bag without worrying about it.

I'm using this one. No idea what's with the ratings on there. Mine is perfectly fine. Light, sturdy, holds my joycon straps, a microfiber cloth, and a USB C lead just fine.

The two cases I have are:

The premium travel case from the Nintendo Store

and the Hori Hard pouch.

Out of the two, I would recommend the one from the Nintendo store. It looks a lot more elegant and is of much higher build quality inside and out.

I was thinking of getting the Switch backpack but for $70 it seems overpriced for a specialty backpack that would not have much other use.

I got this one.

Slightly thicker than the others, but deeper pockets so you can store more joycons, battery backs and a power adaptor (not the original switch one as that one is too big).

I use the official one from Nintendo. Looks clean and protects the Switch well.

I previously tried out the Biogenik and PDP one before returning them. The former was had this funky plastic smell. The latter was a little bulky.

I got the same thing. The elastic on this one made my choice easier among others.

I just left my Biogenik case open on the table for a day or so and the smell was gone. It was pretty strong though.

To be fair I bought this one because I had $20 on an EB gift card, not because it's the one I actually wanted. I wanted the Orzly one with the handle.

This is one hard to find console! I've had no luck getting one so far.
