the nokia's look good.. always been a fan of the lumia design (eventhough the 900 looked kinda oversized) MP's aren't everything and it looks like nokia has focused on a quality lens

floating lens is pretty neat.
basically a micro balanced gyro for the lens to tilt on.

Still shot camera comparison Lumia on top, Galaxy S III in the middle and iPhone 4s on bottom, although we can't really comapre the Galaxy S III because the backlight on the screeen is off

I was really considering the Nokia 920 as my next phone but I can't believe they didn't put a microSD slot on there flagship phone but put one on the 820. That's a major fail on Nokia's part and as the HTC One X vs Samsung S3 has shown the lack of expandable storage is often a major deciding factor in choosing one phone over the other. Pretty disappointing.

Great looking device with an operating system that has received critical acclaim. I wanted to try WP7 when it was released, but just couldn't pull the trigger. I hope for Microsoft's sake they release this device within the next month or so (preferable before the new Iphone), but I have a feeling they won't (no release date given today).

Finally!
Now release it in the next couple of weeks please so i can put my GS3 on sale. Just have to decide between yellow or white

I agree 100%. Really a dumb move on MS's and Nokia's part. No carrier info, no pricing, and no release date. If they are waiting for the new Iphone to be released to judge pricing, they are stupid. They know (roughly) what Apple's pricing will be. It will be premium.
I was actually seriously considering buying Nokia stock today (even with the fall). Not only because of the critical acclaim of the hardware and software, but because I think it looks good.
If they had this phone up for pre-order TODAY with the announcement, I (along with many others no doubt) would have pre-purchased. Look at the Nexus 7 for crying out loud and the pre-orders surrounding that announcement.
If they don't release this phone within the next month or so, it will fail to the Iphone upgraders and the "I'll wait for the Nexus announcement first" crowd. Reply With Quote
