It has now been confirmed that future Nokia Mobile phones will be powered by Microsoft's Windows Mobile 7. Its Symbian projects are to be sidelined.

The head of Nokia used to work for Microsoft. Perhaps that made ir easy to push the deal. For you Nokia fans and avid mobile phone users, what are your opinions? Was it worth it? Should Nokia have teamed up with Android? Two turkeys don't necessarily make an eagle. Discuss.

Don't care to be honest.
I am not apple fanboy, but I don't think I will ever buy non-iPhone in the future.
This is coming from someone who used
Desire and Captivate for Android and Bold 9700 for Blackberry and E71 for Symbian and WM 6.1 on HTC Touch Pro 2.
I like iPhone 4 do death and hated iPhone 3G and sold it due to slowness (this is to show I am not blind iSheep).
I really like how smooth everything is in iOS.
Software is top notch. The only one I didn't try yet is WebOS from Palm and WM 7

Definitely a smarter choice than toughing it out with their own crap OS/software.

Nokia hardware is awesome, and while I've never used the new Microsoft phone OS I'm sure it's worlds better than Symbian. This might actually get me away from Blackberries if their new phones turn out well.
