Do non-moving violations (Plate Obstruction, Fail to provide proof, etc) appear on someones Driver Abstract from MTO?

Really? I had one of those (paid a $0 fine but was convicted) and I never saw it show up on mine. This was some years ago now though, was it changed?

I see them all the time on there. Its a minor conviction.

Any update on this? Will a "Fail to Display Two Plates" ticket appear on your abstract? If it does, any idea on how insurance companies look at this... increase rates, etc.?

its quite possible if its there, it will be rated as a minor conviction. some companies don't charge for 1 minor whereas others may. best thing would be to pull your own drivers abstract and see if its there.

no idea, depends on the company...sometimes they just remove the claims free discount if you have 1, some companies will charge up to 20% for 2 minors..
