Non-resident stock investor

Hello my cousin is not a Canadian resident anymore but he owns and trades stocks through Questrade.
He said he trades Canadian & US stocks. Does he have to file Canadian tax return? Does he have to report gains for all the stocks sold (Canadian & US)?

Any advice is appreciated!

Your cousin signed up for Questrade and is trading, but can't use Google to find those answers?

I think Questrade has a help line. They should be able to answer all his questions.

dividends yes, interest no

inform questrade and they should deduct correct amount directly, an no part xiii filing is required

as for capital gains on shares, I believe answer is no
