not a deal, but a question about PM at staples
hi all,
i'm new to this PM'ing at staples, but i've done it before...
but the only problem seems to be proving that the other place has the
item in stock, before they PM.
would it be a good idea, to buy the item at the other store and then going
to staples with it to show them that the other place has it in stock?
(please delete if this thread should not be in this forum)
thanks

can't do the delete thing however it shouldn't be in this forum ('tis not a "hot deal").
btw yes it is a "good idea" which has been done by many with positive results.

Yeah you should post this to Off Topic forum next time.
The biggest problem with Staples PM seems to be OOS rathter than proving other stores have it in stock.
You could call a few other stores prior to going to Staples and request them to check the specific one that has the most stock. Request them to check using you speaker cell phone.
Buying the item at the other store could be too much hassel cause this adds 2 more trips, buying and then returning.

Another Q here:
does the staples have to do PM, even it's for "free"?
eg: FS selling a game $10 and Staples $40
so, the PM will be:
40-10=30
10-30/2=$-5
everyone thinks staples WILL or HAVE TO give the game for free?
Thx
