Not sure if I got best deal for 2019 civic

Bought a 2019 civic EX, don't have delivery on Tuesday but I feel like I could have bargained more. All I got was winter tires with it which is like another thousand, can I go back in to the dealership and negotiate? what happens if I dont want the car anymore as I haven't taken delivery?

Even though you don't want the car and haven't taken delivery, there's no "cooling off" period here in Ontario so they will likely keep your deposit.

You can go back to the dealership to try and negotiate, but they're not obligated to give you a better deal at this point in time.

Can I still negotiate, would they entertain it or just tell me to **** off and take my 500$ deposit.
It really depends on the dealership.

You could get a dealership with a really nice business manager and they'll refund you the $500 deposit and you'll be on your way. I'd say that's rare though.

LOL these posts. We really need a sticky on this I think.

Best idea is just to take delivery of your ugly car and not worry about whether you could have saved $500-1000 more at another stealer or with better negotiating. You could try to back out but you are on the hook for some or even all of your deposit, depending on how much you put as a deposit.

anyone know like how much I could have asked for? The winter tries I got costed about 1000$ cad but they didn't discount the car, maybe should have asked 1000 off the actual price of the car.

Are they Michelin X-Ice winter tires, did it come with RIMS? Or just Tires......way cheaper if you got them elsewhere. Welp, what's done is done.........you signed the papers, and delivery is Tuesday. Too late to bargain now. Life goes on, live and learn!

The question is what did you get off the actual price of the car? Like can you give us a rundown of your deal--what packages/options/trim you got, what the MSRP is, and then what you're paying?

Kind of hard to say if you got a decent deal or not. I mean either way it's too late (hence why we really need a sticky about this) but if you want to know, you gotta post the details.

 I think this thread is going in the wrong direction here. You missed where I said--what are the trim, options, etc, and what is the MSRP of your particular vehicle?

You've already signed the contract, so there's no sense in torturing yourself after the fact with questions about whether you could have negotiated a better deal. I suggest you never return to this thread, and just enjoy your car.
