I shot my first semi-nude and topless photos at nuit blanche. idk about you guys, but despite being all alone and walking nonstop it was a truly great experience for me. now that i have checked my shots again, i seem to have nailed a few good ones.

What's the significance of the CN tower photos? It looks just like any photos taken at night, regardless of this event taking place.
I've yet to see any shots posted here that defines this event for me. It looks like just a bunch of art galleries available at night add a whole bunch of people wandering around in Toronto along with it.

The chaos at university & Bloor:

I had to turn this picture into b&w because of the light glare from cn tower spot lights.

More than taking pictures, to me nuit blanche was an experience, a test of endurance and a unique social event in toronto. simply being on the skypod of cn-tower at 3am was worth it all.Last edited by nahim.a.a; Oct 3rd, 2007 at 06:29 PM.

installation art is about the experience and not just so much what you see and can take a photograph of, that's what i think
i believe the theme was to spice up toronto at night and pull an all nighter with hundreds of other people to experience both the art and the vibe. which pretty much appears to be a bunch of people walking around

yes, its not about getting a good photo of something, it was about enjoying the night. I could've wasted my whole night trying to "capture the essence" but then I wouldn't be enjoying all the different exhibits would I? The event is about walking around downtown with friends, along with thousands of others, appreciating all forms of art!

but that's somethinng special.
I don't think the night was about getting it defined in photo's... sort of like a 60's happening... you had to be there.. the photo's are just the flavour for the foto section here.
Check out : http://taggraph.com and tag it with Nuit Blanche and the flavour is more apparent.

I like how everyone says it's the experience that counts... oops I guess I'm posting in the wrong forum then!
And isn't the whole point of taking a photograph is to capture the moment?

I wish we had something like this in Vancouver.
I always seem to miss out on these types of events._______________
From a "Family" reviewer: "We Cheer teaches coordination, enticement to lust, women being used as sex objects, and team work."
From Worthy Playing: "We Cheer is, then, for all intents and purposes, the F-Zero GX of music games. It asks for so much, yet forgives so little. It is actually so casual that it's hardcore."
