Nutelasagna. Nutella + Lasagna

Back in Brussels, we made this with layers of thin crêpes, crème fraiche or custard and powdered sugar. Wouldn't lasagna noodles be a little too thick?

lol, i agree that this is bizarre but it reminded me of austria, they had rolled crepes filled with a cream cheese filling, covered in caramel/chocolate sauce, similar to a "manicotti". it was delicious, so not to far off what you had in brusssels. as far as the noodle being thick, you would fill the layers more and/or use less layers. just something to try. next!!

My daughter made the "cake" with the multiple crepes layered with Nutella/whipped cream and it wasn't bad...not something I'd want to eat regularly. This concoction with the pasta noodles reminds me of Pizza Hut's dessert pizza...which is simply pizza crust with pie filling on top - it doesn't really work.
