http://www.megamillions.com/

Draw is Tuesday Oct 23
I'm headed to NY side of Niagara Falls on Friday to grab a few tickets. anybody else grabbing some? they $2US each.

Odds of course are astronomical but fun to take a flyer even when 1 in 302,575,350!

You're making a special trip for this?
I'll visit the falls tourist area too and make an evening of it. The bus is free for me anyhow (Gold member at casino)

Not only did we embarrass Marky Mark, we let down the Funky Bunch.

Winning that much money would be incredibly bittersweet. On the one hand, you'd be set for life and almost nothing materially would be out of your reach. In reality however, you'd also be in fear of your life 24/7 and have to deal with the constant attention of scammers and/or family asking for money which would likely ruin relationships and close friendships.
Not sure if that's a kind of life I'd want to live in.

Thats so much momey that you could give each family member and friend a million dollars and still be set for many lifetimes. The trick is to move away as soon as you win the lottery to avoid all the scam letters and calls you'll be receiving.

The odds for the Mega Millions game are truly astronomical. But it is still fun to try to win that much money. I have a group play for the game but we spread the money out across 10 or so draws by buying only 50 tickets per draw.

Of course, a better deal is the Lotto Max draw on Friday. The jackpot is capped at $60 million plus an estimated 42 Maxmillions. Since the jackpot cap was raised in July 2015, there have been only 3 draws with more than 42 Maxmillions. Our odds of winning at least $1 million are currently sitting at 1 in 1,104.

Good luck!

Group U24 bought 50 tickets for the October 16 Mega Millions draw. The jackpot is an estimated U$372.6 million - position 7 in the list of the largest ever US jackpots. Each share can win C$4.7 million after taxes.

Sorry, it is too late. The group has already bought tickets for the previous two Mega Millions draws.

I do have a Lotto Max group that is open. It will buy tickets for the October 19 draw with a record 53 Maxmillions. Cost to join is $20.

The other option is to get on the waiting list for the next Mega Millions or Powerball group.

The group that bought Mega Millions tickets for the October 16 draw is closed to new members. But I am always willing to make exceptions if a person is willing to buy tickets for the group. Let me know if you are interested in joining. Your cost to join the group can be offset by the money you spend on group tickets.

The richest 1% of this country owns half our country’s wealth, 5 trillion dollars, one-third of that comes from hard work, two-thirds comes from inheritance, interest on interest accumulating to widows and idiot sons, and what I do.. <find the rest>
