October Rush is over! Which games did you pick up?

So this month in gaming has been a huge one from the start until the very end. Tomorrow marks the end of this rush with Fallout 3 being released. Next month we have some games like Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, and Mirror's Edge to keep ourselves entertained. But this is about October, not November. I don't think ever before has there been so many high profile games being released almost simultaneously.

Which games this month did you pick up? Were they good/lived up to your expectation?

It's true that this Fall 2008 has been the biggest and best video gaming releases ever. Fall 2008 is truly the year of Video games. I have spent about $500 on video games software alone this Fall

I'm not sure how the PS3 Fallout port will turn out. If it plays like ass compared to the 360's I'll just wait and pick that up along with Far Cry 2 on the PC. *sigh I need to upgrade though...

only picked up LBP.

the other games are good such as Fallout 3 and Dead Space but I'll probably pick them up in a couple of months used or find them cheaper due to the abundance of the game.

I thought you went overboard as well buying 4-5 games in a month, but if I remember correctly, Akuma_kumite has some inside connections

BTW, I've been so busy working, didn't buy diddly-squat. I will pick up GoW 2 I hope.
