With Asus, I have always found out that pictures never give them complete justice. The built quality is top notch, and you can only determine that by having one in your hands.
In the looks department they are usually quite sexy.. but go and touch one.. and then you'll know what sexy really is..

Gf has the M6BNe, hinges are starting to get abit loose. I'm gonna try to tighten them soon. Is there any service manuals that show this (there's ones that show removal of CPU, mini-PCI and ram)?
I think I'm going to upgrade her HDD soon, it's a 5400, prolly get a 7200rpm. Her CPU's the 1.7/400 and w/ 1GB DDR, so that stuff's fine already. Wow, this is wierd, I checked her mobile 9700 specs, and apparently they're better than the mobile X600!Last edited by B0000rt; Apr 9th, 2006 at 01:00 PM.

The Mobility Radeon 9700 is just a clocked-up Mobility Radeon 9600. The X600 is about the equivalent of the 9600M.

Apr 9th, 2006 01:03 PM #15But I would only assume the X600 being next gen, supporting more features...
