This thread is going to be nothing but endless, worthless bickering between who thinks which school is the best.
I'll let you in on a little secret though...there's NO SUCH THING as the "best" business school. Every school has its positives and downfalls. There's no perfect biz school out there for everyone. It depends on what you want to do, where you want to go, what you want to experience, what types of things you place a greater emphasis on (i.e. do you value small class sizes? do you want a tight-knit community? good professors? rich resources?) etc. etc.
Just do your own research and find the best business school for YOU.

The Official Best Business School Thread
allright there has been much debate on the best buisness schools in terms of undergraduate and proffessional degrees. The top 4 are usually queens, shulich, rothman and ivey.
now which in ur opinion is better then the 3? and which one of the 4 is easier to get into.
thanks

its all about you, period.
Ivey is good because the enroll requirement pushes you to learn a lot of managerial skills from getting involved.
Schulic ... a lot of my friends don't really enjoy it lol. It seems lilke it is more academic focused
UofT - Commerce: same old commerce
Co-op Mgmt: Same as commerce with the addition of co op experiences.
Laurier - similair to co-op mgmt w/o the big name and tuition.
Waterloo- good for accounting
that's just my 2 cents...prolly just my perspection anyway.

Even if the OP is thinking international, Cornell isn't considered a top business school. I beleive they specialize more in the Sciences and Engineering. The top business schools in finances are Wharton, Stern and UofMichigan, at the undergraduate level. Stanford, Harvard, Wharton, LSE and Northwestern at graduate.

Aug 16th, 2006 04:46 PM #15I'm sure if you searched the school-you're-interested-in's website, they'll have the requirements.
