So it looks like Pacman and Bradley is pretty much a go....just waiting on Bradley to sign the dotted line with Top Rank:
http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...thy-bradley-jr
Not interested in this fight and Bradley doesn't deserve this fight...I would rather watch Marquez vs. Pacman 4....
The split must be pretty lopsided since Bradley has 0 drawing power....

Pac and Mayweather are idiots....and I definitely think both sides are to blame..
Pac needs to push Arum to make the fight happen...50/50 split is very reasonable..
Money demanding more than 50/50 split is ridiculous...ego got in the way...
But hey, you know what? Why not make it 45/45 split with the winner taking the additional 10%? Put your $$ where your mouth is...if each boxer is confident about their abilities then what is there to worry?
Arum is a joke with all his BS excuses about not being able to meet the May 5th date.
I like the Cotto vs Mayweather match and not at a catchweight....I think Cotto resents Arum for sticking by Margacheato....while Cotto and Arum are saying the right things about Cotto's departure so not to burn the bridge but really, I don't think Cotto will go back to Top Rank for future promos...
Pacman vs. Bradley? Borring!! I don't think Bradley deserves that fight and I can see Pac getting butted all throughout the night...lol!Last edited by ji2o0k; Feb 3rd, 2012 at 12:51 PM.

Who cares about Pacman -Bradley. What a waste!
Oh well, I wonder what Cotto has left in him? He's been in some wars and looked rather down-and-out until his past couple of fights. Hard to evaluate his performance against Margarito - although he looked great.
I'm hoping for a war. I could see Lloyd hitting the canvas once but I don't see him losing._______________

I think Bradley is gonna just go in there and try to survive, but who knows. He's been dropped many times before by less harder punchers, so I think Manny can stop him.

Good bout this weekend folks!
We see the return of Maravilla vs Macklin!
This is a good bout...Macklin is a pressure, straight forward figher and Martinez is unorthodoxed and a little awkward...
I predict some good pressure from Macklin in the early rounds but Martinez will ramp up in the later rounds and TKO Macklin in Rd 7...
Any predictions?
P.S. Anyone watch Salido vs JuanMa II? What a fight.....JuanMa's defense is crap and he has no head movement but he is a warrior for taking all those headshots...
but lost a lot of respect for his post-fight comments about the ref...

almost looked like Macklin might pull of the upset, but Martinez's speed and power were too much in the late rounds. I think this is the 1st time I saw Macklin fight, and he did well.

Martinez is a beast....he is 37 years old but looks 27...
Macklin did do well...but Maravilla is a beast....he turned it up in the round 9, 10 and 11 and got the job done...
Sergio needs a big-money fight, he deserves to make some money before he rides off into the sunset...

Another excellent fight this weekend on Cinco De Mayo !!
Mayweather vs Cotto.....co-feature Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Mosley......
Predictions:
Mayweather by UD....Cotto will be aggressive but Mayweather the counter-puncher/defensive specialist will give him problems and Cotto won't be able to land anything significant while getting pot-shotted by Mayweather.
Alvarez by stoppage...probably 8th or 9th round as Mosley is a step-slower and can't pull the trigger with Alvarez being aggressive and his youth/energy will outdo Mosley...

I don't know if Cotto can go the distance. He needs to be agressive in order to win, which means he needs take chances. Mayweather is vulnerable early but always makes the adjustments and exposes his opponents.
I predict a good fight. A lot of good exchanges. Cotto will do some damage but I have Mayweather in the 10th - TKO.
Hoping for a clean one tonight.
I still hate Mayweather and am cheering for Cotto._______________

Are all boxing commentators this biased? I get it, Mayweather is winning the fight. How about not repeating the same crap over and over again.
