Are these much better than the current Galaxy Nexus for just $100 more?

359 for an unlocked brand new nexus straight from google, Jesus.
I really hope this puts downward pressure on the prices from the big3 and the discount carriers to sell cheaper phones.
Because otherwise, no one would ever buy another phone.
I wonder what the big3 would try to charge. Only $25 on a THREE YEAR CONTRACT!

I have been looking for a reason to take a hammer to this S2X.... I hate this thing...
How is the Reception with Lg phones... That is the biggest thing I hate about this S2X.... Sitting there not being able to use my phone... While all the Iphones work fine in the same area...

I have a friend who has an LG Android phone - the Optimus LTE and reception on it is pretty good. He's with Bell. Then again it depends on the carrier + the radio chip the phone uses.
One thing is not confirmed - does it take a micro sim or regular sim? Either way I am fine, but just wondering. Also it has a true IPS HD display. Is that a good thing? I.e. IPS vs the Galaxy Nexus HD
screen?
Edit: Nvm, sim ejection tool. So it could be a micro sim like with the iPhones.
What's In The Box
Nexus 4 phone
USB sync/charge cable
AC Adapter and cable
SIM ejection tool

wow. 2GB ram on vanilla Android. The 1gb ram on Nexus 7 is already very speedy, 2gb ram makes this phone a killer.

To quote someone from slickdeals:
"I've got to say that I'm surprised that they are only charging $299 for the HSPA+ Nexus 7. This has to be the cheapest HSPA+ MSRP in history."
Is the HSPA+ Nexus 7 selling only for $319?_______________

Thanks OP for starting this thread

Price point is great for the market and I think I'll be buying a pair for my lady and I when it's ready to be purchased on Play store.
I was a bit worried that this was not going to be made available on the Play store, but it's good to see that Google/LG are hitting the Canadian market in this manner.
