And the people with kids probably wouldn't be able to spend as much time or money on this either lol. Unless they are old enough and on their own.

10 years from I can see all of us being on A&E, interviewing us on how we're all bankrupt and how LEGO ruined our lives........ and how it all started from a forum on RFD, lol

The instruction book should list all the parts contained in the box on one of the pages (likely the last one, showing pictures of each piece and the part count). Some bigger sets do list them by bag number, I believe.
Thx .. We built the set and we could build the most advanced ( its 3 in 1) version of the set which is a Camper Van so now I am sure we got everything.
The Seller refunded me the Custom duty and handling fee . Thanks SumoNinja

I purchase Lego for my kids, hope that they can gain something from Lego, it will be better if they have inspiration, creation or some sort that could benefit their future study/life, if not, at least keep them happy for few days from these expensive toys.

And you are further one year younger than me... but I will admit , I got Lego bug recently....My wife was buying the 15 - 20 dollar sets for my boy since he was 4 or so ( now he is 6 and built vacation getaways today very quickly) but I was not so interested as those basic lego toys didn't look any good to me . They were just some bricks to be put together.. Over last year my son had big pile of small small pieces in a big box all mixed up but then I saw him coming up with super cool little little items which were not the original lego box came up with. They were his own creations. Then I started taking interest. Later I realized that the good default lego sets are not the one wih very basic 15-20 dollar price range.. The cool more detailed items are expensive. but I I will buy them slow and steady...

I'm the same.
I just collect bigger sets, I started with star wars but impossible to ignore all the wonderful constructions you can have with technic, ideas and creator expert.
Unfortunately same cool set is now retired and make this collection more challenger. Research, and be on top is part of the fun.
For example for over a year I was looking to buy the 2 retired pirates of the Caribbean boats.
I bought 2 days ago the queen anne for 200 (few years ago I never could see myself spending this much money for a used set) now full energy on the black pearl.
Another must have set for me is the haunted house.
I dont want to list all the other crazy set like green grocery etc... that would be too much for my pockets!
Which are your dream retired sets that one day you would like add to your collection?

I think my focus now is on cars. Trying to track down this beauty:

Thankfully my wife fully supports this, she's as obsessed with Lego as me. :) No kids (no plans on it, ever) - so really it's just for the wife and myself.
