Two days in a row I got over 4h of sot under heavy usage. I love the new interface. I am extremely pleased with this update.

I am on Telus and update G5 to Nougat on Tuesday. Like the new version much better, especially the app drawer and the quick settings and notification menu. Happy with the update. :-)

So yesterday evening I got two brand new LG G5's (LG-H831) from Koodo, both manufactured 11/2016. One works fine, the other one starts boot looping right after I insert any SIM card. When I take the SIM card out, it boots just fine... Gotta call Koodo I guess.... Bummer...

It is apparently a known problem that the SIM card tray in these LG G5's is malfunctioning, causing a boot loop situation. They have received many brand new units return over the last month or so as a result of this issue...

i don't know what's going on today but my FB app and messenger app keeps draining the battery and waking up after i forced closed it. Used it very lightly today as usual since 7:30am and now my battery is at 20% (usually 60% at least at this time of the day).

Try going into the battery stats and press stop for both apps.

So I ended up getting on the G5 deal that was on last week. Phone been good so far except for connecting to my WiFi. It connects to my WiFi fine but if it loses or drops signal it won't connect automatically. When I go in the WiFi sitting it says "authentication error" but if I try connecting manually it connects. Anyone experienceing or have a solution to this? I would appreciate the help thanks. I upgraded from a G3 which I had no problems with.
