They have the board I want at Dogfart.com I bought his last board which was a Burton Chopper at Sierra (trusnow) when they had the falling out with Burton and were shipping Burtons to anywhere. that was a great deal.
When Sierra Snowboard (Trusnow now) had their 70% off sale my brain almost exploded. Especially since they were shipping all products across the border. I bought so much stuff that year, wow!
Then Burton came down on them like the hammer of the gods and destroyed them. Sad sad stuff, we get ripped so hard up here.

It was actually the other way around. First Burton cut them off then they shipped worldwide. Sierra had always sold Burton products below the limit of 40%. Out of the blue Burton told Sierra that since they are breaking their sales agreement they are cut off. No warning or anything. So Sierra said **** it! Lets ship world wide since we are cut off anyway.
Sierra up to this point was the biggest online seller of Burton products. Burton had just launched their new online store. Coincidence?

I am a beginner and trying to get my first set up.
I got a great deal on a K2 Raygun board so I picked it up.
Now I am looking for a pair of boots and a set of bindings.
For bindings I am looking at Burton Custom or Burton Cartel. Is there much of a difference between the two to warrant the big price difference?
As far as boots I tried on some Burton TWC and Burton Ruler. They both felt the same on my feet in the store. The Ruler has the Speed Zone lacing system.
Can you guys suggest which bindings I should be looking at.
Second, what do you think about these two boot selections? Any other make and model I should try on?

Yeah I am aware of all of the crap that went down, I've been a member on the forums for a while there. Almost at the free bindings actually
That sale was pure gold, it was insane at the time. People were buying thousands of dollars worth of gear at 70% off. I forgot how much I spent, but it was a lot. Gloves, boards, bindings, everything

Where is the best place to buy Snowboard Boots and Bindings?
My local store has 2010-2011 season Burton Rulers in my size for $139 and Burton Cartel binding for $169.
Should I pull the trigger on these or would I be able to get a better deal elsewhere?
I like the Burton Grail boots better, but everywhere they are $209 except for zappos which is $188, but they don't ship to Canada and my USA address won't work for some reason.
