Do you think having a Google Drive Excel sheet open to some members of the board could be a good alternative option?
Sure. But why reinvent the wheel when they're so hard to maintain?

To open an account in EQbank, do we need an Ontario ID or any ID as long as the billing address is an Ontario one?
If we can dream it, we can make it!

No ID. Application is done online. They do a credit pull, and ask you extra questions if there's a mismatch.

I found this site gives you the up to date rates.

Rates always uotodate here
Thanks for that convenient CANNEX link to a comprehensive listing of savings and chequing account rates!
However, if they are listing the most current highest HISA/Savings standard rates offered then that CANNEX web page should have updated their "Savings" table row data of "1.5000" for Motive Financial to 2.8000 for the new Motive™ Savvy Savings Account; although CANNEX's ".6000" appears "currently" correct for Motive™ Chequing.

Yeah, this link does not seem to have the most accurate data... Missing some FIs and incorrect rates for others.

OK so if we want updated lists, why don't we just copy paste from @angel_wing0 's original post and just have people who have time correct it (copy paste from quoted post so that the URLs stay intact.). When OP has time to update, she can just copy paste to her desire from it. Interesting that Bridgewater Bank has become somewhat competitive and HSBC has increased their Advance savings which is a grandfathered account to a somewhat more decent rate.

Not sure where those DP's are from. Who knows how old such reported rates may be.
