Terrible slogan

Looks like they made those cards in the 90's. They should try for a more modern design. Then again, it doesn't matter.

250 release

And I was never told that there were 4 withdrawal limits for free when I got my card a few months ago.

I guess I can always transfer my money back to PCF chequing and take my money out if I plan to go over the limits.

Actually, PCF presently pays 2% if you have over $25,000 in your Chequing Acct while they only pay 1.65% if it's in their Interest Plus Acct, and slightly less if money is in a Regular Savings Acct. Strange, but true!

What your saying is not very true.

The page says, they will pay 2% interest on the portion of balance between 25k+

on the portion of
balance between: annual interest rate (%)
$0.00 - $1,000.00 0.10
$1,000.01 - $5,000.00 0.15
$5,000.01 - $10,000.00 0.25
$10,000.01 - $25,000.00 0.50
$25,000.01 and up 2.00

However for the Interest Plus account, they pay 1.65% on the daily balance (if >1000.01$)

daily balance annual rate (%)
$0 - $1,000.00 1.00
$1,000.01 and up 1.65

The first $25K gets a much lower rate.

By some quick and dirty math, you would need to have over $100K in the Chequing account before you would break even with the same interest as the Savings account.

I don't think you can get cheques for that account. They claim to do a "soft" credit inquiry when they open the account, but I haven't checked my credit report to verify.
