Check out the DTEK60, full Android with the best security on earth. I have it and the 5.5 Inch QHD AMOLED display is gorgeous, also scratch and smudge resistant. 2560X1440 (534ppi)
21MP Sony Camera with 8MP Front
Fingerprint Sensor
4GB Ram, 32GB on board with up to 2TB Sd card
Snapdragon 820

It's same specs as $1049 Pixel XL and yours fully unlocked for $650 with case and rapid charger.

Has anyone received their $25 credit (or $100 credit) for moving to another brand/S7 yet?

So... Can anyone direct me to where I can find a way to revert to the original update and an update blocker please? Thanks!

It wouldn't need an update for carriers to block all Note7 phones.

So I guess the next question would be.. Where do I find a reliable IMEI blocker? ;)

Supposedly no WiFi or bluetooth on the 12th and service cutoff likely by IMEI number on the 15th.

Except Verizon.

Today, Samsung announced an update to the Galaxy Note7 that would stop the smartphone from charging, rendering it useless unless attached to a power charger. Verizon will not be taking part in this update because of the added risk this could pose to Galaxy Note7 users that do not have another device to switch to. We will not push a software upgrade that will eliminate the ability for the Note7 to work as a mobile device in the heart of the holiday travel season. We do not want to make it impossible to contact family, first responders or medical professionals in an emergency situation.

Me too. I received a $25 cheque over the holidays.

I believe the saga has finally ended for me but not before another roller coaster ride.

I finally sent my replacement back last month via a UPS box and within a week they refunded the money to the credit card (I purchased original from Samsung online). Then Samsung sends me emails telling me to contact them about returning my phone after refunding. I replied by email letting them know with the evidence tracking number and original return receipt etc. Then I received 2 letters from Samsung in the mail (before receiving the $25 cheque) to return the Note 7's (original and replacement). Apparently there is a lack of communication between the various departments or they just simply send out the emails and letters to everyone on their original list. Hopefully I'll never hear about the Note 7 again.

Now I wait for the Note 8 to come out. Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes

The big press conference is this Sunday at 8pm EST - who else can't wait to watch the global live stream?
Here is the key clip from last night's livestream explaining why the Note 7 exploded:

And a short corporate video explaining why they think it won't happen again:

And here's the video of the complete press conference:
